This thread is for players to create useful guides for other players.
1.A - Table of Contents:
1.A : Table of Contents
1.B : What is so special about this?
1.C : Special Tips
1.B - What is so special about this?
1. You can share your experience / proficiency of RO by writing guides - improve your writing skills and also cause sharing is caring!
2. Guides that moderators/ other players find useful will be pinned and moved into respective boards (so far there are no boards yet! start writing!)
3. For every useful guide written, players will be awarded cash points based on the comprehensiveness & completeness of the guide.
1.C - Special Tips:
1. Make your guide comprehensive by adding a table of contents!
With a table of contents, referrers will find it much easier to detour/refer to a specific part of the guide.
For example, if referrers are looking for special tips, they can perform a ctrl + f and search 1.C
This makes the guide easier to go through, and readers need not read the whole thing, cause TLDR;
2. Use BOLD or underline where relevant!
Readers will tend to find more meaning or remember specific important points when bolded or underlined.
Also, advanced writers will find that strikethrough can be used for details that are outdated (no longer relevant)
For example, the sky is red
3. Insert pictures to make the guide more interesting
A picture speaks a thousand words.
Due to the forum not being able to host picture uploads, pictures have to be first uploaded to an image hosting web first; for example IMGUR.
a) Navigate to imgur (https://imgur.com/) and click to upload picture
b) Once you have the picture uploaded, right click the image and copy image link. The link should end with .png for example.
c) Click on insert image on the thread and paste the link
d) Walla! The image has been uploaded to the forum!
4. Quote / Reference where relevant.
Authors do not like their guides to be plagiarized. If you do copy a guide from the internet, do quote and acknowledge that others have written it instead of you.
Of course, original work is preferred but we embrace freedom of speech (even if it is a ctrl+c ctrl+v)
Credits can be as simple as:

Start writing and share the knowledge!
